Pricing and Availability

The phone is expected to go on sale from 13 October 2025 via Samsung’s official website and retail partners.
Why Samsung Does This
Rebranding is a common strategy for Samsung in India. The Galaxy F series is often sold via Flipkart or certain retail channels, while the M series is pushed through Samsung’s own channels or broader retail. By inviting the same hardware under different names, Samsung can target multiple sales paths without reinventing the device.
What This Means for Buyers
If you were eyeing F17 or A17, M17 delivers the same experience — only the branding differs.
The Rs.12,499 entry price makes it an interesting contender in the budget 5G space.
Long term software support is a highlight 6 OS upgrades and 6 years of patching make it an appealing choice.
As always, check the variant (RAM/storage) and whether a charger is included before purchasing.
